The latest addition to the family of entities of Good News Channel is SHUBHSANDESH Television recently approved by the Govt. which is a 24 hours satellite channel dedicated to the promotion of Christian values and communication of Gospel among the Hindi speaking people. Hindi being the largest spoken language in India and in the absence of any whole time exclusive Christian channel of standing in Hindi, SHUBHSANDESH is poised to reach 75% of the Indian population and also touch the huge Hindi speaking diaspora scattered all across the globe. The channel is being uplinked to INTELSAT-IS 10 which transmits the signals on wide beam to more than 120 countries over Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Australia across the globe. It is hoped that with the support and back-up from all denominations and the entire spectrum of Christian community, SHUBHSANDESH with its innovative programmes is set to make a mark and impact the viewers. Our vision and mission being ''Reach the Gospel to the unreached'' we pledge to make best use of this God gifted tool for expansion of the Lord's Kingdom.
The encouraging response and feed back to our programmes in various channels and the rich experience gained over the years in visual presentation inspired us to go for a 24 hours satellite TV station of our own and thus was born SUBHAVAARTHA Television in the year 2007, the first ever Christian channel in Telugu language. The channel has built up within a short period a strong and committed viewership base among the Telugu speaking people not only in Andhra Pradesh but across the entire country thanks to the availability of the channel in major DTH platforms including besides through conventional cable network. The channel is also available online through webstreaming. While offering a unified platform for all denominations, the channel carries a right mix of content focusing on education; health etc., apart from regular spiritual programmes and youth based Christian music and cultural talent items.
